Terms of Service

24 Hour Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • All in-studio bookings are to be made via this website or via an online link sent to you.

  • In-studio bookings can be made up to 12 hours prior to the appointment date if there is availability.

  • All new lash extension, makeup or hair styling clients will need to pay $75 deposit at the time of booking (payable by credit card). This deposit is then deducted from the total cost of your service fee on the day of your appointment.

  • Bookings are deemed confirmed when a confirmation is sent to you via text or email.

  • We understand that plans do change and you may not be able to attend your appointment. Any cancellations or adjustments to your appointment time must be made via the booking app (acuity scheduling) or via phone (call or text) with at least 24 hours notice.

  • No shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit any deposit paid. You may send a friend or family member to take your spot

  • Appointment deposits/payments will be refunded in the event of you or Mia Loves Pretty having to make a cancellation due to government-imposed restrictions, an act of God event, unforeseen event, death or family emergency (force majeure). Your appointment will subsequently be rescheduled to a later available date.

Sickness / Allergies / Illness

  • If you are a new client that has particular sensitivities, you should come into the Mia Loves Pretty studio for a patch test (complimentary) at least 48 hours before the appointment to test for sensitivity and suitability.

  • Although the possibility is low, reactions towards materials used during eyelash extension or lash lift & tint or brow styling may occur at any time to anyone at no fault of the lash styling artist. Refunds can not be provided if this is the case however you must contact Maria immediately so that the situation can be remedied (e.g. complimentary removal of eyelash extensions) and seek professional medical attention if the symptoms persist beyond 48 hours.

  • For all lash styling services, particularly lash lifts, while this happens rarely please note that if you are menstruating, pregnant or breastfeeding, the results of your appointment may vary due to hormonal fluctuations. Please advise Maria in your consultation form or prior to appointment if this is the case.

  • If you are feeling unwell or suffering from sickness (even if you think it’s at the tail end!) please advise Maria and reschedule your appointment immediately.

Service & Studio Etiquette

  • Pricing advertised on this website and on booking forms are in AUD and are current, subject to change without notification. All prices are fixed and non-negotiable.

  • We are unable to offer lash infill services to any clients who wear mascara or gel liner over their lash extensions so please ensure this is completely removed before your appointment

  • We are unable to offer lash lift or lash extension services to any clients that are wearing or have any leftover mascara, gel liner or any eye makeup along the lash line or on natural eyelashes. If this can not be completely removed before your appointment, please let your artist know ahead of your appointment so that additional time may be added to your appointment for mascara/gel liner removal.

  • Clients that are wearing lash extensions previously applied by another studio/salon and wish to have a full set of lash extensions or lash infill service from Mia Loves Pretty must also book a lash removal service on top of their appointment. In most cases, clients that are wearing lash extensions previously applied by another studio/salon will need to have a full lash extension removal and a new full set of lash extensions applied.

  • All clients that have lash extensions applied are recommended to follow the aftercare instructions given and book lash infill appointments at least every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain the full look. If less than 30% of lash extensions remain on the natural lash line or a significant amount of remaining lash extensions are twisted and very grown out (resulting in <30% lash extensions left in great shape) , a full set will need to be applied. Please text Maria ahead of booking if you are unsure.

  • If you are running late we will try to accommodate you the best we can but this may mean we won’t be able to perform the full service. The appointment fee still applies. If you arrive late (more than 5 minutes) to your appointment, the duration of your appointment may unfortunately be shortened, or if very late (more than 15 minutes), you will need to have your appointment rescheduled to a later date or time.

  • While your children and pets are much loved creatures, we can not accommodate them in the studio - and you won’t be very relaxed at all! However if you’re truly stuck, please contact Maria at least 24 hours before your appointment.
